What is Invisalign® treatment?

Initial Consultation
At your initial consultation visit, we will evaluate your teeth and discuss your treatment goals. We will do a digital scan of your teeth and help you visualise your future smile using a scanner and different tools that show 3D images of your teeth. At this visit, we will take a complete set of photos and x-rays for you.
Customised Clincheck® Plan
Dr. Vidhi will generate a customised treatment plan for you based on all the records collected at the initial visit. We will use the Clincheck® software to map out the journey to your new smile. Dr. Vidhi will discuss the Clincheck® plan with you in detail allowing you to see the movement of each tooth and provide you with an estimated treatment timeline.
Receiving Your Aligners
You will receive a series of custom-made aligners to wear every day for 22 hrs. You will change to the next set of aligners at home every 10-14 days. At this visit, we will give you all the detailed instructions about wearing and caring for your Invisalign® aligners.
Regular Check-Ups
Periodic check-ups are necessary to monitor your progress and ensure your treatment is on track. These visits are usually every 6-8 weeks.

Caring for Your Invisalign® aligners
Proper care is essential to maintain the effectiveness and clarity of your Invisalign® aligners:
Wearing the Aligners
For best results, wear your Invisalign® aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only for eating, drinking (except water), brushing, and flossing.
Cleaning the Aligners
The two times that you brush your teeth are the two times that you should clean your aligners using a soft toothbrush and mild soap. You can use specialized aligner cleansing tablets to keep your aligners clean and clear.
Maintaining Good Oral Hygiene
Brushing your teeth twice a day is very important. Every time you remove your aligners to eat or drink any beverage, it is advisable to gargle and rinse your mouth thoroughly to remove any food particles and plaque before reinserting your aligners.
