Take a detailed medical and dental history

We will ask you to get specific digital x-rays.

Take full set of intra-oral and extra-oral photographs.

Make molds of your upper and lower teeth.

All these are records are essential for properly diagnosing and planning your case.

Customised Treatment Plan Discussion

Following which a detailed discussion is done with the patient and their parents, in case of kids, to explain them the treatment plan and answer all their questions.

Details about how the teeth are going to be moved and how long will be the duration of the treatment.

Details about various types of appliances available for treatment like the types of braces, aligners etc are discussed.

All the financial information regarding the cost of the braces or aligner treatment is discussed. The cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary and depend upon the appliance chosen and the individual patient’s needs.

Do’s and Don’ts during the treatment are discussed.

Step 3

Getting The Appliance Fixed

This is the big day of starting your Orthodontic treatment journey!

Braces- We will fix your braces and put the initial wire.

Aligners- We will bond attachments on your teeth and give you your first set of aligners.

We will give you detailed instructions on how to take care of your braces/aligners, dietary instructions and oral hygiene care to be followed during the entire course of your orthodontic/ braces treatment.

Step 4

Regular Follow-up Appointments

Throughout your orthodontic journey, you will have regular appointments once a month.

Adjustments: We will tighten your braces or check the fit of your aligners and provide you with new set of aligners. These adjustments are crucial for ensuring your treatment progresses as planned.

Monitoring: We will closely monitor your progress, making any necessary modifications to your treatment plan to ensure the best results for you.

General dental health: We will monitor your dental health during the course of your orthodontic treatment, keep you motivated to take good care of your teeth, and recommend any dental work like cleaning or cavity filling that needs to be done.

Step 5

Gradual Tooth Movement

Braces and Aligners apply gentle pressure on your teeth. This pressure stimulates the bones in your jaw to change shape, allowing your teeth to move into their desired position.

This is a very slow and gradual process. Patience is a virtue!

Braces Removal Appointment

Before removing your braces or wrapping up your aligner treatment, we will be fixing fixed retainers on the inside of your upper and lower front teeth.

Finally, the big day has arrived!

If you have chosen braces, we will remove your braces and clean your teeth.

If you have chosen Invisalign® or clear aligners, then we will remove the attachments and clean your teeth.

It will be your big day to flaunt your newly transformed beautiful smile !!

The Retention Phase

The most critical phase after completion of active orthodontic treatment is the retention phase.

To maintain your new beautiful smile you need to wear removable retainers as instructed by us.

Wearing retainers is crucial for long term success of your orthodontic treatment.

Retainers help to keep your teeth in their new position by allowing the bone around the teeth to become strong in the new position.
